Stargate
Just watching Stargate SG-1 from the beginning again and can't help but think that there must be some element of truth in this.
In the same way the X-Files was known to have a lot of truth in it and the FBI worked with the X-Files on some episodes, perhaps the air force did the same with Stargate?
Apparently there is / was one in Iraq and this could be one of the reasons we got rid of Saddam and are still in Iraq
It's a fun thought.
