I’m glad it was not closer in similarity to Terraria. The last thing I want to see is a game living under another game's shadow.

I like it when game developers take a bit more risk in being different. Otherwise, we just end up with cookie-cutter templates that become quite boring after a year or so when the market floods trying to repeat past successes.

With that said I wish there were more focused on space and them building that part out more. As someone who loves space games it lacked the depth I really wanted. When I think ship upgrades I don’t just think adding another section. It was not as thrilling to warp around as I was hoping. Lots of room still for them to work with.

I just feel like if it had a more set path of progression like Terraria did, it would have been more enjoyable for me. Obviously it doesn't need to be like the same game, but it felt so open ended that I lost interest quickly.
