Top 3 coins to stake in 2018

in #staking7 years ago

So as I continue to delve into the world of crypto, I have decided to turn my laptop into a haven for STAKING! For those that don't know what what staking is, or what a PROOF OF STAKE COIN is ( or POS ) just google it quickly and come back.

For the majority of POS coins its better to get into a large pool ( a good one is BTCPOP, others are out there) the larger the pool of coins within a wallet, the greater reward distributed to those within the pool...Simple right?

But for the loan wolf, the solo shark & the individual whose friends think their crazy and obsessed over "this fake money bubble" Then staking from your own wallet may be for you.

CONS: yea it consumes energy & electricity. But so does your wife's hair straightener. You might as well stake some coins and let my laptop charge while i sleep.
PROS: Your in charge, you own your wallet, your the captain of staking! "BOOM"

Anyways, here are my top 3 coins to stake in 2018. Im taking into consideration current price, potential gains, upcoming road map, technical potential and direction of coin. Below are the 3 in no particular order.

  1. B3: Its currently dirt cheap right now. The community on telegram and discord are terrific. And the rewards for staking are 100% per year at the moment. Click here for the reward scale https://chainz.cryptoid.info/b3/#. The wallet wasnt that difficult to get synced to the blockchain ( unlike others ) and when i got stuck or had problems i just asked in the discord group! They couldn't be more helpful. And most importantly they're fanatical, die hard supporters of the coin. Thats a huge plus in my book. Means they wont sell cheap! Which means profit and price movement upwards. The road map shows more updates (GOOD) a new wallet (DECENT) and development of a decentralized exchange! (EPIC HUGE) There are no dates for this, which is somewhat disappointing. But if B3 was to break out a coin exchange, You need to look no further at the rise of KUCOIN & BINANCE COIN to see the profitability within an exchange venture.

  2. EMBER COIN: Its dirt cheap & again the rewards are massive ( 720% return on your coins annually ) essentially its like a savings account on steroids. The coin doesn't offer much on the technicals. No white paper & no visual dev team noted on the website. It markets itself purely as an asset that will grow in value exponentially over time.
You buy 1,000,000 coins you earn 190,000 coins each day, and so on and so forth. Thats a TOP return.
However, Im assuming theres millions of people, staking millions of coins, earning millions of new coins. Which, when factored in with the mantra of "demand increases as supply goes down" would only bring the value of EMBERCOIN down......right???? I don't like that, but i like free coins. Its a catch 22 situation. The more coins you stake, potentially the more your weakening the value of your coin. However, they have proposed a coin burn in the 2nd half of 2018 ( so that narrows it down to one of six month!! thanks for being so specific EMBERCOIN) For me this is a high risk high reward play. If this spikes hard or gains momentum mid way through 7 months of staking. You going to profit!!! Its a gamble. But is it worth it? Im still 50/50. I haven't made the jump yet. So do your own DD.

  3. LINDA COIN: 1. Its cheap. Have you noticed i like my bargains. 2) Its called Linda. It reminds me of the old lady down the street, who has 6 cats and smoked 4 packs of Marlborough a day. 3) Lightning quick transaction, masternode staking, up to 70% POS block reward, a big impetus on marketing and getting on new exchanges in Q1 & Q2 of 2018. And lastly it falls into the privacy coin category, which is all the rage right now ( VERGE, MONERO etc)
For me Linda coin is hovering under the radar. They recently updated their website. And it looks really cool. I stumbled across their site a few months back and it looked like the home page to a commodore 64 in the 90s. I think this project is in it infancy and its just starting to gear up and realize its potential. Its a safer bet than EMBER COIN in my opinion. And did I say its called Linda. Come on, we all know and love a Linda ;)

There are copious POS coins out there! All power houses within their field. NEO, DASH, NAV, STRATIS & ETH. These are all safe bets & fantastic projects with room to run. BUT, i wanted to share some light on the underdogs, the chancers, the risk it for a biscuit coins. Some may call these shit coins. But another mans shIt is another mans treasure. Remember where BTC was way back when ;)

At ease!
