Beware of lies !!! 

If you think this is true - think again. This is scam created by red onion producers. Actually for that purpose white onions is working better and not leaving red paint remains, that needs to be cleaned afterwards! So be warned! 

And if you want true results - small slice of garlic works even better, but you need to put it microSD slot.  This works with phones too.

As not all devices have it just use regular CD tray and WHITE onion.
