Today I Helped Build the Stage for Trans Siberian Orchestra
I've been working as a stagehand since early summer. I have always been assigned to the lighting crew. Today I got to set up the stage instead, which is considered carpentry. I'm no carpenter but I lift things. That's basically the job. I occasionally have to hammer pins into trusses.
The trucks were late due to an accident on the highway, which turned a 6 hour load-in into 7 hours. I have to be back at 9:30 for load out. Hopefully it just takes a few hours.
