When I get up and open my eyes
I see sunlight through my window
I realize that I can open my eyes
I can breathe, I can talk
I'm alive and that makes me feel full.

I can love my loved ones
I can dream of a better world
I am madness and at the same time love
I want to enjoy my full life.

I do not expect to be hurt
There is no time to hate
Time is short and oblivion is long
I give thanks for what I am and what I have

That I lack everything but not the will to live
I do not want that I lack the desire to dream
There is no time to feel defeated
I just want to enjoy and be happy.
