What on earth should make man SAD
When in fact He has God as a DAD
He wakes us up at our deepest NIGHTS
Who by His strength shields our FIGHTS
Ohhh Yes! we should be happy!
The builder who all our lives BUILDS
Who raises men up in all FIELDS
When it seems like all hope is GONE
He beckons on us that He's not DONE
Ohhh Yes! we should be happy!
Happiness does not consist in THINGS
But in tiny acts of love going round in RINGS
How happy shall he be who blesses the POOR
To him real happiness, nature POURS
Ohhh Yes! we should be happy!
But then a fellow in anger rants and CURSES
How can I be happy with Steem and my LOSES
When one Steem Dollar can not get me a DRINK
Look, fellow be happy don't SHRINK
For Ohhh Yes! we should be happy!
