Steemit Uyo Community Update; We just paid for the second Steem Accelerator Hub to provide free Education, WiFi and Electricity in Uyo.

Hello everyone. Watch this 20 seconds video to see the space we got for the new Steem Accelerator Hub to be sited in Uyo.

After months of working with the Steemit community in Uyo, we finally get them their own Steem Accelerator Hub that will come equipped with free WiFi, electricity and conducive working space.
Yesterday being the 18th of December 2017, we made payment for an office space that will be used for the purposes of an Accelerator hub, in the city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Some brief about the Uyo Steemit community.

What started like a tiny flame is now spreading like a harmattan wild fire, burning brighter everyday threatening to consume the whole city.
The steemit community in Uyo, which started off with less than five people; @samstickkz, @ifioklee and @evelyniroh has multiplied to more than 300 members in a space of 5 months. Amazing progress you will say.

Since the first meet up which held in the month of August 2017, they've succeeded in holding three more with an exponential increase in attendance. Two of which @ejemai attended.

The passion and enthusiasm of these guys is second to none. Everyday more than 10 persons get signed up on steemit; by the efforts of these guys. With no incentive whatsoever, these guys are reaching out to the entire city.
The more members they sign up, the wider the reach. There has been lots of testimonies from this community, of how steemit is changing lives; people paying their bills, school fees, offsetting debts amongst other wonderful things.

A lot of them have carried the fire to neighbouring towns like Eket, Aba, Ikot Ekpene, Umuahia, etc. and hopefully these towns are already getting consumed with the Steem.

One person that has contributed immensely to the expansion of this community is @samstickkz. He has been selfless, passionate and resilient in bringing people into the community. He spends most of his time mentoring minnows, a move that has brought about a truly collaborative community that is growing in leaps and bounds and earned them the rights to have a Steem Accelerator Hub fully equipped with WiFi and Electricity.

WHY THE UYO STEEMIT COMMUNITY DESERVES THE STACH SUPPORT.

In a city laden with much unemployment and underemployment, this community is looking to reach Small and Medium scale enterprise owners, helping them generate funds to grow their business instead of hoping for non-existent loans from financial institutions.

An Accelerator Hub powered by @stach which will provide free internet and power which would be open to all, steemians and non-steemians alike and the target is to decentralize the offline by breaking the barrier to accessing the internet and getting an education on the workings of the Blockchain technology.

WHAT NEXT?

It is our hope that by June 2018, the entire Uyo community will be experiencing the power of the Steem.
Steemit is on fire, these guys have caught the fire and they are burning, releasing massive amount of Steem.
The innovative ideas of STACH to run innovations with numbers is just getting started.
