The Nigerian Atheist

The Nigerian Atheist is not in it's strict sense, somebody who does believe in the existence of God.

The Nigerian Atheist is someone who is angered by the way most religious leaders extort and take advantage of the poor masses to acquire private jets and build universities which only the elite in the society can afford. He needs help.

A Nigerian Atheist is someone who has developed hatred for God because probably God did not intervene in a situation which he feels He should have. He needs help.

A Nigerian atheist is someone who is suffering from depression and low self esteem and as such is struggling for social relevance. You help him achieve that when he writes anti-God posts and you insult him and also help him share them. He doesn't need insults and shares. He needs help.

I have met some of them personally. One had a core gospel music as his ring tone. How would you explain that?. Most of them consciously or unconsciously say: "God please".... Which God? The God of Atheism? Some of them still call out to God or God's son during impending or progressive danger. Spot one of them slip and about to fall in the bathroom, what you'll hear is "Jesus". Which Jesus?

So you see, to all of them there is an internal battle between what they are trying to make people think they believe and what their intuition tells them is true.

Yes, the Nigerian atheist knows very well that there is an almighty God but he's just out here desperately trying to make you think he doesn't. The aim is to stir the pot of doubt in your heart. Be careful.
