When silence is no longer an option
The only threat to a new rhema is an old one...
We are in a world where a better knowledge of something is regarded as not being the "status quo" and most times seen as a contradiction to an existing "tradition".
Its high time we grabbed the bull by the horn and sound our convictions so loud with beats of boldness irrespective of the opposition.
The French revolution of 1789 was led by a few individuals who saw the need for change and stood their grounds without temerity and later got support from the masses.
When Christ came with the gospel, he was seen as a "heresist" per say and even with his miracles, the scribes and Pharisees were still vehemently opposing him... Well they wanted to stop the revolution he brought not knowing he was the revolution...they thought they've ended it by the way of his crucifixion not knowing his calling was fulfilled via his death.
It was until a young Libyan citizen set himself ablaze that a revolution called "the Arab spring" started.
It was until Nelson Mandela was thrown behind bars that the spirit of revolution was stirred up in south Africa!
Such movements would always encounter violent oppositions and we should never be scared of imprisonment, torture, excommunication, and threats because it would only stir up the spirit for positive change!
There are dispensations and times of change which cannot be withstood; no matter what!
Justice Obaseki once said...."laws are meant for men and not men for the laws"
Am tired of a society where laws are preferred to than the people it was made for... A constitution or rules that doesn't add to our lives but leaves us with questions that no one has an answer to.
The Revolution we crave for has come!
Its high time we equip ourselves with the pen and voice of truth, not forgetting the mask of boldness and the irresistible force of unity for that which we are so convinced of.
The day we begin to die is the day we begin to keep silence over things that matters...
