STEEMCHURCH:Are we truly the house of God?

Can God almighty live in you? The Great king of kings, lord of lords, the creator of the world, the majestic God, lives in me? That's very hard for a lot to swallow in, so many that profess this truth also don't really think it is entirely true because it is very shocking that the holy God chose sinful, mortal, fragile human as his abode! Amazing!

To shut down all rumors and gainsaying concerning this, we will see what our lord Jesus christ taught about it:

John 14:23 KJVS
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

God living in us is a finished work package, it couldn't be realized until Christ is dead and has also resurrected.
So,in the above verse, Jesus was speaking in promissory note, informing us of who we will be. He said God will come unto us, not to visit, not to be a part time owner until you fall into mistakes, but to make YOU his own abode!

John 17:23 KJVS
I IN THEM, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Jesus is us!! Dwelling in us, God also in us, that's our perfection.

Right in the epistles, the spirit of Christ testified this truth to us:
Ephesians 2:20-22 NLT
Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.
[21] We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord.
[22] Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:16 NLT
Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

Glory!!! We are his habitation!!
It's beyond human comprehension, by his unmatched love and favor, he has made us his habitation, and forever that's who we are.
