FEELING RELIEVED

He resumed back to the campus after a very long break orchestrated by an industrial action embarked on by the ACADEMIC STAFF UNION OF UNIVERSITY (ASUU), his school chapter. This was an action caused by nonpayment of salaries by the government, this lead to a very long strike action. Alas the staff agreed to return back to work after series to meetings and deliberations.

On resumption, everything on campus looks strange and new, for he has suspended academic actives since his school was on strike. Studentship was already fading away from his memory, lectures, assignments and above all exams were worrisome.

He had no option than to summon up courage for he is required to fulfill all the necessary requirements before he can graduate.
Lectures started, though it was a bit stressful, but all thanks to God for the semester is now nothing but a history. The semester examination started April and May 2nd, and since then rest has not been enough. He sleeps for just about 5 hours just for him to devote quality time to academics, the semester is concluded and what is left now is a semester to complete his academic programme.

He feel relieved.

Sincerely on resuming back to school this semester, I was worried for reasons I can’t really pinpoint, the atmosphere was tense, it has come and gone last night I had about 8 hours of sleep which has been impossible since the exams started and lasted for about 24 days.

The semester is now a history.
So I say to myself
