STACH; What It has come to mean to me
STACH (Steemit Accelerator Hub) is a project birthed and pioneered by @ejemai. The mission is to create mutually profitable, beneficial and vibrant offline communities that encourage collaboration and participation in the Steem blockchain. In his own words;
STACH is a community driven platform which is set to replicate the robust online offering in the offline space. We target creating a massive presence in Nigeria and Africa and hope to with this, make STEEM and Steem Dollars as widely accepted as Bitcoin is in these regions.
These offline communities are becoming hubs/centers for promoting both Steem and the Steemit brand in Nigeria and they are rallying points where the average Nigerian youth gets educated and trained on the workings and benefits of Steemit. The hubs provide enabling communities for collaboration, growth and productivity.
Using a combination of different individuals with technical knowhow and experience in the Steemit community as well as its unique, effective and efficient service offerings, @ejemai has created a distinguished and excellent community with an orchestrated approach towards youth development, economic empowerment, business development, education and training.
The success of the STACH project so far can be attributed to @ejamai’s detailed knowledge of the Steemit community, his amazing focus and passion for the #Project20millionNaija campaign, his ability to recognize and select a reliable and formidable work team and his access to resource persons, volunteers and awesome whales like @donkeypong, @gavvet, & @sndbox team, to mention a few.
Discovering STACH has been a game changer for me. I was introduced to Steemit at a point when I had lost almost everything including my zest and passion for life and its accompanying drama. I was down and almost out. The Steemians of the STACH community in Ibadan welcomed me, embraced me, guided me and mentored me, giving me a new family and renewed joy. The ideology of the community resounded deeply with me, especially the fact that STACH is a community that is almost as strong offline as it is strong online, impacting Nigeria, one individual at a time by eradicating poverty, criminality, hooliganism, unemployment and other social vices in the young people who become associated with it. Catching the STACH vision became inevitable and I’m committed to being a functional and effective vessel in the achievement of this admirable and inspiring mission!

Nice to hear your thoughts about Stach. I'm really keen to get out to Africa this year, to Nigeria, Ghana and maybe even Uganda too, and come and see some of the good people at Stach for myself. If the community wills it, I will get a plane ticket.

I remember when i joined Steemit and was encouraged to use #stach, i rushed to check for the meaning of stach in my dictionary but it wasn't there.
I've always wondered what it meant, but today, you've opened my eyes. And i am saying Thank You for the enlightenment.
