bitcoin has paved the way for all the altcoins.And yes a lot of people are not well educated about bitcoin and blockchain related stuffs and therefore don't know how bright the future is for this new technology.Bitcoin would always be the Biggest in the game because it has been tested ,attacked but still it survived up until now. All the altcoins are yet to go through this sort of attacks, Some would survive and some won't.
