Do you know the guys behind the invention of the air ✈ plane?

Have you ever sat down for once to imagine the amount of risks they put themselves in, especially when they decided to test thier invention for the first time UP ABOVE, HIGH IN THE SKIES*

What if the flying machine just moved along the runway but failed to accelerate?

What if it accelerated but later fell down to the earth effortlessly.

What if it took off it took off while being tested and just up in the skies the propellers just failed and dint work again?

What if non of them got the right engineering calculations that was needed to keep the object flying?

All these are serious questions, portraying the great extent of risks that was detrimental to thier lives.

December 17, 1903 two brothers from Dayton Ohio, with no formal engineering training defied gravity in their curious flying machine over the dunes of North Carolina remote outer banks.

They made history by succeeding to make what many considered as the first powered and man-controlled airplane flight and soared into history.

Popularly known as the Wright Brothers - Orville wright (August 19, 1871- January 30, 1948) and Wilbur Wright (April 16 1867- May 30, 1912).

BEFORE THE INVENTION, GUESS WHAT THEY DID FOR A LIVING?
Well they were both 🚲 bicycle repairers 😁, and owned a local bicycle manufacturing centre.They were also in one way or the other involved in newsper publishing. This brothers were so bonded with love and cooperation as it was seen that all thier businesses were all a product of partnership between themselves, including that of the airplane business*

The key breakthrough that led to the air plane invention was thierselves invention of the three-axis control system which formed the basis of the craft and enabled the pilot to steer the plane effectively.

  *TESTING THE PLANE- THEIR INVENTION*

Now it was time to test what they designed. Going into the sky for the first time, wouldn't have been an easy task. Especially when you don't even have a common school diploma talkless of of an Engineering degree of any kind.

These guys were to an extent not intellectual, that is if you say going to school means being intellectual ☺.
To shock you, the highest they attained was just high school and Infact one of them, Orville was a drop out and dint enter a senior year at high school.

SO WHERE DID THE KNOWLEDGE COME FROM?

anyway testing their invention brought a question on who will go first.
So they tossed a coin to see who would first test the Wright flyer- the name they gave the craft.
The older brother Wilbur won the toss.

His first attempt was unsuccessful and brought minor damage to his craft though but not to him. This happened on Dec. 14 1903 on the sands of "kill devil" hills, North Carolina.

3 days later, at 10:35 am, the Wright flyer moved down the guiding rail with wilbur and in not more than 12 seconds later the aircraft left the ground and progressed to hit a 120ft away from the ground.

They both exchanged turns 3 more times with Wilbur's final flight lasting nearly a minute, covering distance of about 852 fts.

Ofcourse it was a 100% risk and yes, they were fully aware of all the risks that was involved,

BUT THEY NEVER DWELLED TOO MUCH ON THE RISKS OR THE "WHAT IF SYNDROME"

Instead they dwelled more on the possibilities, they thought of how the world could change through their INNOVATION.

"if you fear the implications in the possible damages, you might never make it in life. Damages must come".

            BUT WHERE THEIR DAMAGES? 

Ofcourse you might want to know if through the process of building the world's most important travel crafts, damages came through.
The answer is Yes! and you might want to call it a plane accident or crash.

September 17, 1908 the first ever Plane Crash in history was recorded. And sadly 😔 😡 it was one of our guys, Orville.
Just as their inventive development continued they sold a two-passenger Wright Military flyer to the U.S Army, in September 17, 1908. They were required to fly the plane as a demonstration for the U.S ARMY to see, this happened at Fort Myer, Virginia with Army corps Lieutenant Thomas Selfridge as the passenger.

Just few minutes into the flight, something disastrous happened!

The propeller disintegrated causing the air craft to go out of control and later smashed to the ground at full speed.
Hours later the lieutenant died.

    WHAT HAPPENED TO ORVILE WRIGHT? 

this is what he suffered --

+A broken Leg
+Four broken Ribs, and
+A back injury that impacted him for the rest of his life.

The truth is in the process of actualizing our dreams, we don't pray to see evil.
But still just as Ephesians 6:13, the evil day must come, but when it comes how we defeat it is determined by how much we are prepared to defeat it ☺.

ofcourse the evil day and the good day will always be there, just as today in recent time, we still experience plane crashes, but yet in the midst of a million safe and sound flights.

Today words cannot explain how much value the airplane has contributed to humanity in all aspects of life and business.

Ofcourse you don't want to imagine a world where youve been hearing about a place called Dubai but cant visit, even when you have the money and particulars, you just keep dreaming till you die and finally never seeing it.

A big thanks to the sacrifice and pain behind this great invention.

HEY! has anybody wondered where they got there inspiration from?
Well just in a very funny way, years earlier when they where kids, one day there father came into room throwing coins, and yes one of the coins twisted in the air and was sustained for a while in the air, this is just when it sparked into thier heads that a flying object might be made. That's brilliant!

Looking on how they got their inspiration, sometimes we need to watch closely, our inspirations are around us.

Looking on their level of education, you don't have to know everything about something before you act on that thing, after all it's not possible to know everything. If it's your passion, just chase it.

In the process of achieving your dreams, feel free to look at possible damages, but don't dwell on them.

In the process of achieving your dreams, your going to look crazy.

But don't worry about that, craziness is only a sign that you are different, and ofcourse you how the story always ends, different people always make the difference *
