HAPPY SUNDAY FOLKS!!

I hope everyone has had some fun today! I would love to share with you all how to edit pictures on Instagram (IG) lol especially all you Sunday picture takers... Y'all know yourself.
It's time to give Snapchat a rest don't you think lol.

Let's get into it!

Alright to help with this tutorial I'll be uploading screenshots of an image I edited today for this purpose.
**So Let's Get Started!

# Select your Image! You can do this from your gallery which is actually faster if you've taken alot of images and don't want to scroll through **IG** to find it. For this I will be using an image taken by my good friend.

Lol do not crop! You can do this freely before uploading.

# The Editing Begins Select Edit tab at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Select Saturation

Now we are making a Black and White Edit here so you're going to take it all the way down to -100. Then hit done.

Let's Add Some Lux

Now in order to use the Lux edit tab, you tap the little sun at the top middle section of the screen. Then adjust it's slider to about 60 to 75. I wanted a sutle edit so I used 65. Once you're content, hit done.

Time to Mess with the Tones!!

Head over to the color tab and you'll see Shadows and Highlights, under Shadows tap the Dark Blue color. You'll notice it's given the image a Matte look. Double tap the color to adjust it to your preference.

image

Next, Hit the Highlights tab still within the Color section and Select the Green to control the overall brightness of the image. Then hit done.

Let's Raise Some Contrast Shall We?

I'm sure you're getting tired but nothing good comes easy lol don't worry we'll be done very soon. Head to the Shadows tab and increase it to extend the Shadows and hit done. Then head to Highlights tab and reduce the highlights just a bit and hit done.

Cropping

That's if you still want to can be done at the Adjust tab.

image

Worry not, it temporarily deactivates all edits done on the image till you're done with the Adjust so don't be scared, nothing is lost. Personally, I didn't see a need to adjust the image but if you want to? Then go wild!

Final Image

There you have it a Matte Black and White Image of yourself looking WOW!!
