RELATIONSHIP WITH TIME

Time management systems brim and still, we are still unsure about what to do and falter at making the most of every dawn or daybreak. We plan for the future and neglect to hold dearly the present. We’d rather look back full of yearning or desire tinged with melancholy even though the future is full of hope.
Though we all know how limited our lives are in the time-space continuum, we sometimes act like we don’t know the value of time. We use words like spend , kill, or waste when we speak of how we while away the limitless number of hours in each day.
And yet, for many of us, it seems there are not enough hours in a day. We cram all that goes with living into 24 hours of ticking, bargaining with Father Time, showing a lack of experience or knowledge expecting him to budge to our rebellious and wishful intentions to produce more, accomplish more, be more.

For the rest of us, here are ways to improve our relationship with time.

• Be self-driven.
• Live in the moment and do things that bring joy and require little to no effort.
• Block out a boatload of time only and just for yourself.
• Choose a task or a path. Don’t budge Focus!!
• Take a minute to list what you’d like to achieve while being realistic about how long each item will take to be finalized.
• Multi-task.
• Ask for help.
