The darkness keeps pulling me
As I crawl into the light
It ties weight onto my legs
And my cries muted
As I'm dragged down under

Everyday I try to escape
I try to grab the light
Everyday the darkness locks me in
I try to yell for help
It hard when there is no one to help

But someday I'm bigger than the darkness
Because the darkness is just in my head
I make my own light
It ain't perfect
But it's my type of perfect
