Becca: A Moment Of Happiness!

in #stach-dsw6 years ago

Yesterday was another exciting day at @stach-dsw hosted by @winarobert and his co-host @julietisrael, like always there was a theme which was "I Deserve To Be Happy".

There was so much drama yesternight on the show, but at the end of the day @francistagbo came out victorious while @iamthegray was second and @Bookoons came in third, congratulations to all of you as well as all the other participants.

Well this was my entry for the show, I hope you enjoy it even if it's a twist on the theme.

Becca was born into an abusive home, to a drunkard of a father and a junkie mother, her siblings weren't any better. She found no love or peace at home so she sought it elsewhere.

At sixteen she met Tom, who gave her what she'd been searching for. All the love and peace she lacked at home but this was short lived because only a month after their relationship began, she became pregnant.

When she told Tom, he asked her to abort. This she was against because she'd heard stories of people dying from the procedure, Tom wasn't impressed and soon after he left.

With Tom gone she had no choice but to tell her parents, her Dad beat her so badly that she ended up in the hospital. She woke up to hear she'd had a miscarriage and lost the baby, her hope of joy had been taken away.

Two years after, she met Charity who offered her the idea of a better life in the form of a trip abroad to work and be somebody, an opportunity she couldn't pass up. So she planned without anyone knowing, the day came an she left.

Upon arrival she met a faith different from what was promised, Charity had deceived her. A prostitute she was going to be with no chance of quitting, tears flowed as her hope of joy was taken again.

Becca slaved on as a prostitute, day in day out without an end in sight. A life she didn't plan for, she could carry-on no more. She hatched up a plan, one that was foolproof.

She deserved to be happy, even if but for a moment. So she took a blade from her purse, and went to the bathroom of the hotel they made her stay. She filled the tub with water, stepped into the tub and slit her wrist.

Becca died that day, but before death finally came. In a pool of her own blood, through the pain of the slit wrists she smiled and in that moment she got what she wanted, she was happy, and with a smile on her face she breath her last.

THE END

I'd like to say a big thank you to @surfyogi for his generous contribution to the show, we truly appreciate it.

As always I remain @dawizy

Beautiful entry dawizy, but personally I feel this entry is still stuck in the depressed zone and struggling to see the Light of Happiness. All the same, you write really good, and thanks for coming around on the show. I do hope to see you next week

Lol... Interesting perspective, thanks for stopping by!

Hi @dawizy, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I noticed that @stach-dsw doesn't exist on Steem. Maybe you made a typo ?
