Who was Thomas the twin? Well, before Arrious Colparnius Piso aka Flavius Josephus has wrote his NT gospels for the Flavian dynasty, whose focus was to subdue the rebel Jews in Levant by starting the imperial religion with Vespasian and Titus as the first successful dynastic succession deified as God Father and Son of God duo, there were already early Christians whom emperor Nero liked to kill en masse for public entertainment.

They were a variety of Gnostic Christians: Jewish-Nazarene followers of the teachings of Nsw (king) Issa (means son of Isis) / Caesarion (little Caesar) / Jesus, who was Jewish via his mother Cleopatra VII, known as an incarnation of the virgin goddess Isis, then also Coptics who were the followers of Serapis cult, a mix of Egyptian dieties Ausar/Osiris, Auset/Isis, Heru/Horus and Apis Bull, that was setup on request of Macedonian king of Lower Egypt Ptolemy the Great.

After Arrius has wrote his gospels in first century CE the early Christianity begun to spread with Syriac, Armenian, Ethiopian, Sabian whatnot communities. As it grew in popularity, then in fourth century CE Constantine I made it legal and called the Council of Nicaea to figure out the basics of new religion.
