It's always possible that our $50 Gold Eagles may be Phased out as Collector Pieces... But the Face Value will remain the same... We really don't want anyone melting down our Bullion Coinage... That's why I feel the One Ounce U.S. $100 Double Eagle will be needed at some point in time...
