SteemSports 2k Giveaway Submission: Venezuela and sports

It all started when I was very young. My parents were both part of the Venezuelan national swimming and water polo team so I was always close to the sports world. I began to fall in love with every stroke I took, with every mile I ran, with every weight I lifted. Years later i became part of the national team of Water Polo and fill my parents with pride. I always wanted to fly away from here and take my skills very far but unfortunately the sport is not very supported in my country. A Cuban coach always told me: The day you leave the sport will be the day you stop living, stop breathing, stop fighting.

I'm currently 20 years old, 6,4 feets tall, 208lbs of weight, 500lbs of good vibes and still train on my own. My old team partners left, some are working to support their families because the sport never gave them the necessary sustenance. In my heart the sport has a special place and I will never give up on my dream, although it sounds cheesy ... i want to get an Olympic medal.
