Sri Lanka start tour of  India by 5 wickets in the opening T20 series of Nidhaus Trophy India  scored 174 runs for 5 wickets at Premadasa Stadium in Ranasingheh,  Colombo. In reply, the Sri Lankans reached the target with 5 balls remaining in the remaining 9 balls.

Sri  Lanka has organized a tri-series T-series with India and Bangladesh on  the occasion of 70 years of independence of Sri Lanka. Bangladesh's first match against India on 8 March The final will be played on March 18.
