BUILDING SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH RIGHTS AMBASSADORS BY THE HOPE CENTER CAMEROON DAY 2

Day 2 kick started by a brief recap of what was learnt on day 1.
Mme Quinta Simbo sensitize the youths on;
*Seeking Options For A Healthy Sexual Life
*Safe Sex Options
*Sexual Rights
*Applying Life Skills To Sexuality and
*Healthy Sexuality.

It was also made mention that different youths have different levels of understanding information regarding SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH (SRH). We have the ;
✓Level 1- Which are instinctive youths and they act according to what they think is right.
✓Level 2- Which are the negligent youths and they don't care about anything.
✓Level 3- Deliberate wrong doers, these youths know what is wrong and they still choose to do them
✓Level 4- Cautious and Careful youths. These youths know their right from wrong and choose to do the right.

Youths were also sensitized on UNWANTED PREGNANCY by Mme Bih Sylvia. Youths were told on the causes, consequences and were also told to abstain for early sex.
Light was thrown on the perks of healthy and unhealthy relationships, SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS( STIs) and ALCOHOLISM, DRUGS AND DRUG ABUSE.
It was made mention that 50%
of adolescent that died in the USA between the age of 14 - 25 was caused by drugs. Some which are legal like alcoholic drinks, painkillers, sedatives, coffee, chat, cigarettes. And others which are illegal like heroine, cocaine, morphine, cannabis/marijuana.
All these drugs have modes of administration either by sniffing, smoking, oral or injectables.

The youths reported that this was indeed a life changing experience organized by the hope center.
