Those potions will give you better chances at hitting a gold card or a legendary card when flipping over your rewards. For example you have 3 Legendary Potion charges. That means the next three cards you flip over will have double the chance at being a legendary. You have 4 Alchemy Potions and that will double the chances for you to flip a card that is gold.
