Splinterlands - I Bought Two Alphas...
I rarely talk about my card collection since I found I get better Steemmonsters up vote when I write about the game instead of individual stats. However on this special occasion I would like to mention that I have by far invested in the game with my biggest Steem purchases to date. I went and bought two alpha rares to add to my collection as I felt it was a decent price on the market.

I spent $22 in Steem respectively for the two cards. Although it may be far better that I bought beta, most of my collection currently is in alpha so I will continue along with saving for alphas as long as I can.
Earth Elemental
The card will be a solid choice for setup in the rear of formations. Especially with level 4 and up there is the ability of self heal. I have a beta water elemental which at level 1 includes self heal and have used it in rear of formations and done well. This will strengthen my desperately needed earth splinter.
Haunted Spirit
In a past post I wrote about this card being a staple. Now I have one of my own rather than relying on a delegated one, and at level 4 which includes magic reflect ability. When I need to use death splinter in daily quests this card will likely be used more often than not.
Slowly but surely I have been adding to my collection and with these two additions my earth and death splinters have strengthen a bit. There will be a lot more investing in Splinterlands for me as I will try to win more battles and earn more great cards.
