No worries. Yes, its not about having the cards. Its' about knowing when to use them ;)
Its useful when the rule is
no melee attack can be usedAbsolutely. Magic tanks don't trigger Retaliate or Thorns either.
I still have issue in understanding the card abilities and uses. I wonder how cards are beating each other. :D
When you see the teams revealed, take a look at all of the different cards, with their speeds, abilities, health and damage; then try and imagine how the match will go.
Watch it through, and if it didn't end up like you thought it would, watch it a second time to work out why.
That's the quickest way to become an excellent player :)
