Aggy talks Splinterlands at Dreamhack with Drop the Spotlight
So, my voice is rekt in this. 3 days of shouting "Do you like trading card games" at people while Mortal Combat and rock concerts play at maximum volume does a number on muh Larynx. That caveat and my general exhaustion aside here's a sneak people at me talking about Splinterlands at Dreamhack (day 3). I'm going to Sweden for the real dreamhack and I'm leaving tomorrow.

HEY speaking of mortal combat, a pure fighting game like super smash brothers which also allowed you to create tournaments with steem and play friends for steem would be pretty fun. There already is a "Steemstrike" app on the playstore under development @steemstrike with the 3d counterstrike type game already finished and working, just no steem posting key or steemconnect login yet.

So I've been a top fan of SM since the scratch, its been an awesome ride...
I just saw that there is splinterlands.io and steemmonsters.com...the usual one...I guess I should make the switch over or it doesn't matter?
Can we trade DEC for TRON, or SPT for TRON, have I missed that update or that hasn't been updated yet :) ?

Tron is being added to steem-monsters soon , but isnt there already some tron integration inside splinterlands? And Splinterland Miners will be interesting
I hope we have some form of low power consumption POW POS hybrid mining where the system maybe checks to see if you have a GPU or ASIC miner, and then rewards you based on how much electricity you are NOT wasting. Just a thought. Otherwise, these coins that provide POS "Mining" (Which I thought we should call "Minting" ) Is a great way to encourage the purchasing of steem-engine tokens. Im VERY happy to see demand and volume go up on steem-engine.com markets and with those PAL and EMFOUR type coins going up, all the other coisn will begin to see some attention as well.
I totally agree, there's a general positive interest in miners that actually do work(not a lot do). The thing is actually few people know about these miners that exists on steem blockchain not to talk of users from other blockchains, once the word gets out there, these miners will be on fire. It's even more awesome how affordable it is to get in. It might not be so cheap for long.
It shouldn't be a bad idea to throw a SPT miner in. I wonder what @aggroed thinks...

Great interview and like you said, the market is still a green field and we tons of opportunity out there. Gaming on Steem makes so much sense with the public database, you own your content and can sell it on a decentralized market, you can write in a forum or blog about the game and earn through upvotes, videos, life-stream, easy donations - Steem was made for gaming and Splinterlands is leading the way.
