Wayne Rooney Told He Could Leave By Everton

Former Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney has been told he is free to leave Everton after the English man is seen as being unneeded anymore.

Rooney has been linked with a move away from Everton to MLS in recent weeks and Everton now feels they do not need to hold the superstar any longer.

With their arrival of Marcel Brands and new manager Marco Silva, the Toffees feel staying at Everton will be pointless for Rooney as the new manager does not have him includes in his plans ahead of next season.

Wayne spent his childhood with the Toffees before being brought to Old Trafford by the former Manchester United boss, Sir. Alex Ferguson but had to return back to Everton.

Rooney was among the influential force during Manchester United golden days under Sir Alex Ferguson and is the England's all time highest goal scorer.

However, his drop in form saw him leave United understand Jose Mourinho and had an incredible first season at Everton before dropping in form again.

The former Cristiano Ronaldo team mate may wrap up a deal with MLS in the coming weeks.
