Rashford Made A Point In Costa Rica Winning

England was able to secure another consecutive win as they beat Costa Rica in a preparation for the global showpiece coming in Russia thanks to goals from Rashford and Arsenal attacker, Danny Welbeck.
Rashford has gone down in pecking order at Manchester United and he could only start 17 matches for the Jose Mourinho side during t he just concluded 2017/18 season.
The Manchester United boss preferred Lukaku as his starting attacker and had the ageing Ibrahimovic as his backup striker thereby giving no much room for the young talent.
The arrival of the former Arsenal man, Alexis Sanchez further drifted Rashford away from the starting eleven and this had the young striker frustrated.
However, his performance against Costa Rica last night made some some and surely sent message to Jose Mourinho and the England head coach as well, Southgate who opted to play Rashford behind Jamie Vardy instead of Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane.
The tactic actually worked but it is hard to say that the England coach would prefer the young striker ahead of Sterling when they face Belgium in the World Cup group stage match as although the young dude had a marvelous first half, he was nowhere to be seen during the second half of the match.
