MOHAMMED SALAH BAGS CAF AWARD FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Liverpool and Egypt striker, Mohammed Salah won the confedration of Africa football player of the year for 2018. The player has won it twice back to back. The Liverpool striker was picked ahead of his fellow club player Sadio Mane, Arsenal Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and many others who didn't make it to the final three. Salah was exceptional in the 2017/2018 season, the striker scored 44 goals and led Liverpool to the UEFA Champions League final where they lost to Real Madrid. The striker also had a fair record at the World Cup, he scored twice at the Russia 2018 World Cup for Egypt.
Salah didn't start the season on a high form but he has been able to find the net 16 times in 29 appearance for Liverpool FC. The striker has contributed to Liverpool success in the English Premier League and UEFA Champions League so far this season. I think he truly deserve the Award, we hope to see him make more great achievements in his football career.
