ROONEY WARNS UNITED OVER MARTIAL EXIT REPORTS

The Manchester United all time highest goal scorer Wayne Rooney said his former club Manchester United should make sure they retain the France international Anthony Martial and make him happy, as the rumours have it that the forward may exit Old Trafford.

Panic arose amidst the fans after the Frenchman's agent revealed last month June that the 22 year old may secure another club where he will be given enough play time and better offer.

"I know how magical Martial can be with the ball, but how do you get to extract the magic from him while he seats on the bench? It will be a great loss if what his agent said comes to pass, his exit will be regrettable." Rooney told talkSPORT.

The France international forward who was snubbed by his national team for the 2018 world cup has been recently linked with a move to Chelsea, Paris Saint-German and Bayern Munich prior to his lack of play time under Jose Mourinho since the Chilean Alexis Sanchez arrived in January.
