MODRIC REJECTS REAL MADRID’S CONTRACT OFFER
The Croatian has rejected the first contract offer from Real Madrid. The player has won the Balon D’or and FIFA the men’s award for 2018. The player helped Real Madrid to a third consecutive champion’s league title and also the final of the world cup. This means that his worth has increased from what it used to be in the past.
Real Madrid offered the player a two year contract extension. However, the contract would see him earn the same eight million pounds he’s been earning. The player wants the club to up the offer to ten million pounds. If Real Madrid doesn’t do this , they stand the chance to lose the player to other clubs especially the Italian ones.
