Klopp - Firmino only felt fit

The Brazilian had been sporting an eye injury after Jan Vertoghen had poked him in the eye in the game against Tottenham.

The player had been receiving treatment at the eye hospital, Moorfield.

Klopp speaking after the sensational win over PSG said there was no chance he was going to include Firmino in the squad for the game but that the Brazilian showed up in training on Tuesday and said his eyes were okay.

Firmino would go on to be the match winner after Salah had made a mistake that allowed Mbappe to equalize for PSG.
