The World has been on for days now and we have seen a lot of exciting football action. This world cup has been an event of Mass disruption in my opinion
We have seen the Home Nation Russia bag all six points from their last two games despite the negative vibes that surrounded them prior to the beginning of the World Cup.

Their Performance at the qualifiers had left their Home Fans in doubt whether thwy will be able to deliver. But their 5-0 victory over Saudi Arabia and their 3-1 Mauling of Mohammed Salah led Egypt has quenched any iota of doubt
Russia is clearly a world cup Contender
Favourites like Argentina and Germany has shown a performance that failed to meet the expectation of Fans and a lot of people who staked bets in their favour were left hanging dry like a Striker caught offside
Germany seems to be toeing the line of Spain that crashed out of the Group stages in the 2014 World Cup after clinching the cup in the 2010 South African World Cup. They had a rude awakening from the underdog Mexican Team and we look forward to the next Match to see if they can salvage themselves

Senegal gained a controversial 2-1 victory over Poland and even though that win brought back the Glory of that small African Nation , the win reverberated all around Africa as they were they were the first African team to win a match in the world cup
Nigeria, Egypt and all other African countries had all lost their opening matches with Egypt losing their second group fixture to Russia Yesterday. It is very obvious that they will be coming home
It is also strange that African countries that made use of Foreign coaches are struggling while Senegal that has an Indigenous Coach is making headway
All in all, the coming days promises to be exciting as we head towards the end of the group stages
The thing about the World Cup is that it is hard to make accurate predictions as every team is 1000% ready and highly motivated to perform well
I see more upsets in the coming days, though something tells me that Nigeria will make it out of their Group

I’m not really a normal kind of sports guy. I most times don’t even get very excited for esports. Sounds like form many of the posts out there many are enjoying it and that is all that matters. It’s nice to see so many unity in doing something that has positive impact.
I suggest that the World Cup is watched more as Entertainment and not as a Live Event that has the capacity to change one's life even if you are going to participate in prediction.
However, just like @Ogochukwu is drawing and triggering great inspirational content from an event as World Cup, anybody can. You can; I can and the event will be more beneficial to the society if folks approached it from this perspective Example: Senegal, considered a lower subordinate winning to everyone's amazement buttressed two points
