Marc Marquez marked the 100th MotoGP race by finishing third in Brno. In that race Marquez's pace was more focused on the logic of the brain, not the impulse.

The Repsol Honda rider finished the Czech Republic MotoGP on Sunday (08/05/2018), with third place. In front of him were two Ducati riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso who were the winners.

It was the 71st podium for Marquez in his career in MotoGP. Racing in Brno also became the 100th race in his career in the primary class of grand prix motorbike racing.

"I always try to win but if that is not possible, I aim at the podium," said Marquez as quoted by GPOne.com.

The third podium made Marquez unable to continue the series of two victories he recorded before the summer break. But finishing third is the most logical result for him in Brno. Marquez did not want to be too insistent on dueling with Lorenzo and Dovizioso.

"If today I have to duel with Dovizioso and Lorenzo, it will be more a battle (encouragement) of the heart than (logic) the brain," said Marquez.

"Whatever, everything is part of the race and I have tried my best to win when I have a chance," said the MotoGP four-time world champion.
