Yesterdays Champions league games have hit the news heading today. Juventus qualifying to the quarter finals in a historic way and Manchester City thrashing of Marseille made the highlight.

Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo did remarkably well to overturn two goals deficit to win 3-0 at home and so qualifying to the next round of this year’s Champions league match. Cristiano bagged a hat-kick scoring all three goals for his side: first two from a header and the third form a spot kick. The hat-trick was the Portuguese eight in the competition tying him up with Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

Manchester City on the Other hand impressed with the numbers of goals they put pass the French side. They thrashed Marseille a whooping 7-0 at the Etihad stadium and an impressive 10-2 on aggregate. They won both the home and away games of the tie and have qualified to the next round of the competition.
