Tottenham Hotspur slipping Further in the Premier league top four finish

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino speaking on hillsides lose to Southampton, he said that his team didn't seem to have respected Southampton enough and that was part of the contributing factor to their lose. Tottenham were beaten 2-1 by Southampton therefore opening up the top four contention to Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Pochettino who watched from the stands due to the touchline ban given to him wasn't impressed by the way his player gave away their 1-0 advantage to let Southampton into the game and then won finally from a free-kick. Although Tottenham came close a different times with the both twice hitting the wood-work of the post, it was Southampton that stole the show at St Mary's stadium.

Southampton still sits 3rd in the table but are now just one point ahead of Arsenal who beat Manchester United 2-0 at the Emirate stadium.
