Casillas to End Career at Porto

Former Spain international and Captain Iker Casillas has recently signed a new deal with his current club FC Porto. The former Real Madrid keeper said that his new contract with Porto meant that he would be seeing off his professional football career at the Portuguese club.
Casillas played for Madrid from his youth until he was sold out under Rafael Benitez while he was Madrid’s manager. He has capped for Spain his country for a record time of 167 international games. He won the world cup with Spain in 2010 while it was hosted at South Africa. He has been outstanding so far this season for his club Porto despite his age. He would soon be 38-year of as he draws to the twilight of his professional career.
Speaking after signing a new contract with the club, he insisted that he is currently interested in the progress of the club as they aim to come out victoriously in the Portuguese Cup finals and the Championship.
