Buffon defended by Agent
Following the criticism Italian keeper Buffon face as PSG were knocked out of the Champions league round of 16, his agent has spoken out in defense of the shot stopper. Buffon was started ahead of their second keeper Alphonse Areola in the second leg match against Manchester United who came back from two goals down in the first leg to qualify to the next round of the competition.
Buffoon was criticized for the way he parried Marcus Rashford shot to strike Romelu Lukaku's path to give United a 2-1 lead in the game. The game ended up 3-1 granting United passage to the quarter finals of the competition on away goals advantage although they were on a 3-3 aggregate.
Silvano Martina, Buffon's agent said that he feels that his player was affected by the weather during the game.
