Personal targets want to donate medals. But I don't want to make this a burden, just be motivated. Especially tomorrow I meet Sindhu (India), I have lost several times to him. I want it to be a surprise, just step by step, "Gregoria said after the match.
"If in a team, maybe I feel there is a team behind me, like someone embraces it. Maybe if someone is still disadvantaged," he explained.
In the second round, Gregoria will face Pusarla V. Sindhu from India. Sindhu advanced to the second round after defeating Vu Thi Trang (Vietnam) 21-10, 12021, 23-21.
Meanwhile, Fitriani faced Saina Nehwal. The Indian victory passed to the second round after eliminating Aghaehajiagha from Sri Lanka 21-7, 21-19.
"I have met Saina and always lost. I will fight as much as possible. I have to be really patient, tenacious, more desperate, more brave and strong in the field," Fitri explained.
