Every team have played 7 matches each and so half part of Indian premier league is completed and now every team will try to reach in top 4 of the point table to qualify for playoffs. Chennai super kings are at top of the table with 14 points in 8 matches. Following by, Delhi capitals with 10 points and Kolkata knights riders, Kings-II Punjab, Mumbai Indians are having 8 points each and they are eager to rank in top 4 of the table.
Delhi capitals have new faces in their team as Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Kagiso Rabada, Rishabh pant, Colin Munro and Akshar Patel who are capable to win the match one-handed. Chris Morris, Ishant Sharma and Kagiso Rabada are good at death bowling. Opening pair is also in good touch and later middle order are also in good form and what they want more from the team as the team is winning.
On Sunday there was a match between Delhi capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad both teams have good death bowlers and opening pair. Hyderabad team came with many changes in their playing11 which affect the team and so they have to suffer from the loss. After winning the toss Hyderabad skipper and Williamson decided to field first which was a good choice but the player also has to do an important role in the team to win the match.

Delhi capitals openers Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi shaw once again fail to score runs. But Delhi capitals have Colin Munro and Shreyas Iyer in the middle and so they take the innings forward with a partnership of 70 runs which help them and later Rishabh pant also available to do as finisher job. 155 runs were enough to win against Hyderabad as they played in this match. Hyderabad had a good start in the power play and it looks that Hyderabad will win the match anyhow without facing any problem while chasing.
Keemo Paul excellent spell of giving just 17 runs in 4 overs bad taking 3 important wickets helped the team to win the match with a good margin of 39 runs. The support from Chris Morris and Rabada helped him to finish the match early. With this win, Delhi capitals have 10 points and staying at 2nd position in point table of Indian premier league. Delhi capitals mentor will be happy with their team performance.
