Spurs fought hard to defeat Fulham

In the 23rd week of PL, Spurs won against Fulham to pressure Liverpool and City at the top. They were looking to win this one after losing to United last week. For Fulham, they lost to Burnley in the previous game week.

At Craven Cottage, Spurs was without Kane and Son. The duo of Kane and Son had been sensational for Spurs who contributed 50% of the Spurs goal. Without these pairs, Llorente started upfront. Alli and Lamela supported Llorente. But it was Llorente who scored in the opposite goals. Fulham took the lead after Fernando Llorente scored an own goal. With Spurs failing to impress in the first half, it ended in a 1-0 for Fulham.

But Spurs got back in the second half. Delle Alli scored for Spurs to bring the game in level in the 51st minute. Christian Eriksen assisted this goal. Both Fulham and Spurs tried to get the winner but failed till the last minute. In the 90th minute, Harry Winks scored for Spurs victory.

With the win, Spurs is third in the table with 51 points. Liverpool is at the top with 60 points while City has 56 points. Fulham is at the 19th with just 14 points.
