Palace defeats Spurs to enter into the fifth round of FA Cup

In the fourth round of FA Cup, Palace comfortably won against big Spurs. Palace put 2 goals pass the Spurs who played their second team. Spurs lost this week against Chelsea in EFL Cup.

At Selhurst Park, Spurs rested their first team and started the second team. Palace also rested some of their important players. For Spurs, they were without Erikson, Son, Kane, and Alli, the attacking heart. Without these players, Spurs didnt look like winning it although they dominated the possession against Palace.

The first goal came in the 9th minute as Connor Wickham scored for Palace to provide the lead. Then, Townsend converted the penalty to double the lead. Spurs tried to get back into the games but couldnt. With no goals in second half, it ended in 2-0 for Palace.

With the win, Palace moves to the fifth round of the FA Cup. The draw will take place on Monday. There are more FA cup fixtures tomorrow and no PL fixtures. PL will resume on the midweek.
