Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos countered Jurgen Klopp's insinuations regarding his offense to Mohamed Salah in the 2018 Champions League final.

The Champions League final between Madrid and Liverpool in May was a number of incidents. One of the most striking of course is the act of violating Ramos on Salah.

At that time Ramos dropped Salah midway through the first half. As a result the Egyptian player suffered a shoulder injury.

One was forced to pull out after the game lasted about 30 minutes. Salah's exit made the game flow change and Madrid finally won 3-1.

"This is not the first final where he (Klopp) suffered defeat, [maybe] he wants to use it as an excuse for that defeat," he said as quoted by Sportsmole.

"Some of us have been operating at very high levels for years, not sure he can say the same thing," he continued.

Initially Klopp had no comment whatsoever regarding the Spanish national team defender's violation. But after a while, he finally gave a striking comment.

"If you watch it again and you're not with Real Madrid, then you think it's cruel and brutal," Klopp said as reported by Sky Sports.

"If you put all of Ramos's situation together, and I have watched football since I was five years old, then you will see many situations with Ramos," he continued.

"[False] You don't think 'Wow, that's a good offense,'" said Klopp.

Sergio is one of the best defenders, but I don't like his behaviour on a pitch.

Maybe it's a deficiency that is owned
