In the process of strengthening the team further to defend their English Premier League title, Manchester City have again stepped to Netherlands, PEC Zwollen to bring in the defender Philippe Sandler.

The youngster who is in Netherlands youth national team has signed for the Premier League winners on a reported fee of £2.5m as a backup for John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi at the center back, meanwhile, he plays at the midfield as well.

Amidst the rumours of his move earlier in March, the 21 year old said: "I learnt there is a Manchester City scout that always comes here to see me play. I don't know how possible it is for him to pick interest in a player playing for Zwolle. City are one of the best clubs in the world with the best coach whose style of football attracts me always."

Following the arrival of the youngster, The Citizens have loaned out the goalkeeper Aro Muric to NAC Breda in the same Netherlands where the 19 year old will use the 2018/19 season.
