UCL: Hat-trick king scores three as Barcelona thrash PSV
Barcelona started the Champions League like the champions to be, they defeated PSV at the Camp Nou in their first Champions League match of the 2018/19 season. Lionel Messi gave a spectacular display at home in front of his own crowd, the Argentina recorded a hat-trick for the Spanish side in their victory against the Netherlands giant.
The victory was a great boost despite playing a team we all know they are no match for the Spanish Champions. Barcelona defeated PSV 4-0. PSV looked like a tough side but couldn't play tough till the end of the match.
Lionel Messi opened the score line with a fantastic free kick in the 32nd minutes of the first half, the goal gave the home team the first half lead. The first half ended with Messi only goal.
Barcelona started the second half with total dominance, Dembele doubled the lead 30mins gone in the second half. Two minutes after Dembele goal, Lionel Messi scored his second and Barcelona third of the night.
Samuel Umtiti was sent off in the 79th minute of the match for receiving his second yellow card in the match.
Lionel Messi again found the net three minutes to the end of the match, the star player completed his hat-trick in 87th of the match. Barcelona is now three points clear with four goals in group B
