Benzema scores brace as Real Madrid cruise to fourth victory in the Spanish La Liga

Real Madrid got their fourth league victory against Leganes at the Santiago Bernabue. Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos and Gareth Bale scored in the Champions League winner’s victory on Saturday evening.

Gareth bale opened the score line in the 17th minute of the first half. The goal gave Real Madrid the lead until the 24th minute before Leganes G. Carrillo converted from the spot kick for his side to cancel the home team lead.

The first half ended in a draw but Real Madrid was the better side in the match as they had more possession than the visiting team. The second half kicked off and Real Madrid blew the visitors away with goals.

Karim Benzema scored in the 48th minutes of the match, the French forward scored real Madrid third and his second for the evening. The striker and Gareth Bale have been effective since Ronaldo exit to Juventus. The team has won all matches in the Spanish La Liga this season scoring good number of goals.

In the 66th minute, Sergio Ramos the Uefa defender of the year scored Real Madrid fourth goal after converting from the spot kick to seal the home team victory. Real Madrid is currently sitting on top of the league ahead of Barcelona with goal difference. The team will be looking forward to win the Spanish La liga after losing it to real Madrid in the previous season.
