Arsenal keep first clean sheet
Almost two months into the Premier League Season, Arsenal have finally kept their first clean sheet of the season against Everton. The Gunners played really well beating Everton 2-0.
It has been a tough start for the Arsenal defence having conceded nine goals already this season in their first five games. Mustafi and Sokratis have been sloppy a number of times this season already making things a bit difficult for Petr Cech.
Having signed Bernd Leno this season, Unai Emery has continued to have Petr Cech as his first choice keeper so far. And the former Chelsea star had an uncomfortable first few games, but was absolutely amazing against Everton. Cech made some very good saves in both halves and was probably the reason why Arsenal were in the game in the first half.
Arsenal have now climbed to fifth in the table after four consecutive wins. And the Gunners will be hopeful of even more points now as they do not face any of the top six sides for a while now. Strikers Lacazette and Aubameyang have also found form now, so Emery will be looking to get a decent winning streak now.
