For second time this October, West Ham faces Tottenham for place in EFL Cup quarterfinals. This week and another is going to be crucial for Spurs. This 2 week will determine where they will be this season. First, they faced City and lost which put them 5 points behind leader. Tomorrow, their fate in EFL cup will be determined and next mid week, they will know how far they will reach in Champions League. A win will keep against PSV Eindhoven will keep hope alive in Champions League but wont guarantee the progress.

Last time they faced each other, Spurs won because of Erik Lamelas goal. But this time is not going to be easy like the last time. Spurs most be tired playing after 2 games. They played last game on Monday. This fixture against ManCity was scheduled for Sunday but because of NFL fixture, it was moved to Monday. Also, Spurs should still remember West Ham defeated Spurs in the same stage last time at Wembley. Spurs were leading by 2 goals but went on to loose the game by 3-2.

As I said, Spurs will play the weaken side because of lack of rest. It means Hammers might have upper hand like last season in EFL Cup which West Ham won. Playing safe here, I am going for BTTS @ 1.61 as Hammers will atleast get a goal against weak Spurs side and Hammers defense is misery and should leak the goal.
